DALLAS, Luzerne County — A supermarket in Luzerne County will be closing its doors in the New Year.
The Weis Market along Route 309 in the Country Club Shopping Center in Dallas Township is expected to close sometime in January.
Weis Market says the closure is due to underperformance.
Store officials say the market's 43 workers will be transferred to other area Weis Markets including the nearby location along Memorial Highway in Dallas.
