UPDATE: Water main break repaired in Wilkes-Barre

The break happened around 7:45 p.m. at South Main and Hanover Streets in Wilkes-Barre.

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — UPDATE: Overnight into Monday, Pennsylvania American Water crews cleared up a water main break in the Diamond City.

The work happened near the intersection of South Main and Hanover streets in Wilkes-Barre.

There are no advisories on Monday morning for people living near that break in Wilkes-Barre.

Repairs are underway on a water main break in Wilkes-Barre.

Officials say the break happened shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday on a 4-inch main in the area of South Main and Hanover Streets in the city.

About 10 homes and businesses are affected by the break.

Officials say repairs should be completed overnight.
