FORTY FORT, Pa. — The Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA in Forty Fort hosted the 2-mile walk around the area.
Once the walk was over, participants could listen to live music, shop for Mother's Day flowers, and shop at the vendor fair.
Organizers say they were glad to see so many people come out to the walk.
"There's not many people who haven't been touched by cancer. So to see these people come out to celebrate and honor folks going through this journey and supporting them, it means the world to us," said Tom Ruskey, The Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA.
Funds from the walk will go to providing free services to cancer patients and their caregivers.
