NANTICOKE, Pa. — Families in need of food got some help on Saturday afternoon in Luzerne County.
Cars lined up at a park along West Main Street near Nanticoke for a food distribution.
The organizers were prepared with 130 bags of food for families and filled up the back of each car.
Volunteers have been doing this about once a month since the start of the pandemic in all kinds of weather, so they were thankful for the sunshine and warmth on Saturday in Luzerne County.
