Vandals broke into a youth sports concession stand and damaged property in Luzerne County.
The stand at Birchwood Hills Park in Plains Township was broken into and damaged just after 10 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Plains Yankees, a volunteer-run youth sports organization that owns the stand, says the vandals broke the lock, ripped the security cameras off the walls, and destroyed the Wi-Fi.
The vandals also broke shelves, scattered items, and tore apart their refrigerators, leaving food items useless.
Neighbors near the park say they heard a loud vehicle, possibly an ATV, passing by around the time of the break-in.
Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to contact Plains Township Police.
