LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A Valley With a Heart Benefits event featured hours of festivities in Luzerne County.
Folks at St. Faustina Church Grove in Newport Township enjoyed a motorcycle run and live music.
The star of this year's event, Sadie Schultz, couldn't make it due to chemo treatment.
"This year, our poster child is Sadie. She is a seven-year-old girl, and she suffers from a condition called Osteosarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer," said John Davis, Valley With a Heart Benefits.
Sadie is one of the many children Valley With a Heart supports.
The event wrapped up Sunday night with a fireworks show in Luzerne County.
