WEST PITTSTON — Police in Luzerne County charged a young mother and father who they say let their baby live in deplorable conditions.
West Pittston police charged Kaitlyn Baird, 19, and Jesse English, 21, with child endangerment.
Officers said when responding to an argument earlier this month, they found a home with animal feces and urine on floors, wet puddles in the kitchen, and a garbage scattered across the floor.
Luzerne County Children and Youth took custody of the couple’s two-month-old daughter.
