Two charged in deadly Wilkes-Barre stabbing

33-year-old Scott Knox died in May after being stabbed several times.

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Two men face charges in connection to a deadly stabbing in Wilkes-Barre. 

33-year-old Scott Knox was killed on May 7th.  Officers found Knox around 3:30am behind a residence on South River Street suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries. 

Police now saw that 63-year-old Jaime Knights and 23-year-old Justice Flenory are charged with homicide and robbery in connection to Knox's death.

According to court paperwork, Knights and Flenory were involved with a group that beat Knox in two locations. The beating allegedly took place over money and drugs. 

The paperwork indicates that another man was responsible for actually stabbing Knox in both of these locations. This man is locked up on charges from an unrelated case and has not yet been charged for the homicide.
