Teen charged after stabbing in Luzerne County

LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A teen is locked up after a stabbing in Luzerne County.

Police say Damii Jones-Gross, 18, of Kingston, stabbed Jonathan Skipalis Jr. several times at a gas station along East Main Street in Larksville early Saturday morning.

Investigators believe both men were at the same house party in Hanover Township. The victim told police he left the party and went to the gas station in Larksville, where Jones-Gross and his friends followed.

Skipalis Jr. is still in the hospital recovering.

Jones-Gross faces aggravated assault, simple assault, and disorderly conduct charges.

He remains locked up in the Luzerne County Prison on $50,000 bail.
