LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — The owner of a tax preparation business in Luzerne County will spend two years in prison for filing false tax returns.
Officials say Leidi Paulino helped to prepare and file hundreds of false tax returns claiming over $800,000 in false education credits over the course of 2019 and 2020.
Paulino was also ordered to pay more than $800,000 in restitution to the IRS.
