Tattoo shop helps animal refuge in Luzerne County

A tattoo shop in Pittston held a fundraising event Sunday where folks were able to get some ink and help animals at the same time.

PITTSTON, Pa. — There was a long line outside Marc's Tattooing and Body Piercing Sunday on Main Street in Pittston as the shop hosted a Cause for the Paws, an event where people could come and get a tattoo in support of Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge near Dallas.

"Because our fur babies are important. Life is not complete without our fur babies so I'm glad that they're raising money so that we can pitch in and help out," said Treyci Callahan, Tunkhannock.

Tattoos started at $60 and a portion of the proceeds from each tattoo will be donated to Blue Chip in Luzerne County.
