DURYEA, Pa. — Ten people are displaced after a fire in Luzerne County.
Crews updated that Foote Avenue from Stephenson to Railroad in Duryea was reopened after a structure fire that started around 4 p.m.
When the Duryea Fire crew arrived at the scene, they knocked the fire down within minutes and determined it was contained to one residence. Ten people lived in the home.
The Red Cross has been called to assist. There were no injuries.
The Fire Marshal has been called, and according to Duryea Fire Chief Jeff Hughes, the fire does not seem suspicious.
