WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Members of the Pennsylvania State Police were out of uniform on Saturday in Luzerne County.
Before the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins game at the arena in Wilkes-Barre Township, troopers were outside in a dunk tank. All of this was to raise money for the Special Olympics.
"It takes the breath right out of you; the water is not warm, it is not warm out here, but whoever was throwing made it quick for me, I got in and I got out. It's all for a good cause," said Trooper Anthony Petroski.
And before the game's puck drop, troopers escorted the Special Olympics torch.
