WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Night one of Riverfest in Wilkes-Barre is postponed due to the weather on Friday.
Officials say the heat and threat of thunderstorms are stopping the fun. A free screening of the Hurricane Agnes documentary that was set for at the Millennium Circle on Friday night is being pushed off until later in the summer.
The Riverfront Parks committee says Riverfest activities will resume on Saturday in Luzerne County.
