KINGSTON -- A renovated swimming pool is set to open this weekend in one part of Luzerne County.
A ribbon cutting was held Thursday at the pool at the corner of Hamilton and Lathrop Streets in Kingston.
The renovations cost $1.3 million and include a brand new splash park, two waterslides, and a high dive.
The pool is scheduled to officially open Saturday.
