WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — It was a twist on the standard career fair in Luzerne County on Tuesday.
Wilkes University hosted a reverse career fair.
Students enrolled in the 400-level Personal and Professional Development course presented projects to potential employers.
"They were instructed to have a showcase project of something that they worked on in their time at Wilkes. And that would be a good selling point for them professionally. They've also had the opportunity to highlight employers that we're attending today to signal to those employers that they were interested in opportunities with their companies," said Bridget Turel, Sidhu School of Business & Leadership.
After the presentation, any interested employers spoke with students about their work.
