WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — The remains discovered at a home along Carlisle Street in Wilkes-Barre are human, according to the Luzerne County District Attorney.
Late last month, state troopers, along with forensic anthropologists from Mercyhurst University, searched the property, removing remains from the basement of the home.
The identity of the remains has not yet been confirmed.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
They are also searching for Debra Fox, who reportedly owned the property in early 2023.
