NANTICOKE, Pa. — PennDOT wants to hear your opinion on a proposed project to widen a stretch of Interstate 81.
The plan is to widen each direction to three lanes from the Nuangola Exit near Hanover Township to the Highland Park Boulevard Exit in Wilkes-Barre Township.
The project is scheduled to start in 2028.
A public hearing on the proposal is scheduled for March 19 at Luzerne County Community College in Nanticoke.
