WILKES-BARRE -- It's 10 to 20 years in prison for a man from Wilkes-Barre arrested following a state-wide Amber Alert.
Walter Lewis, 22, of Wilkes-Barre was sentenced Friday.
In April, he pleaded guilty to nearly a dozen charges including making terroristic threats, simple assault, illegal firearm possession, and fleeing police.
An Amber Alert was issued last summer after Lewis took off with his 16-year-old ex-girlfriend. Both were found in Wilkes-Barre less than 24 hours later.
A kidnapping charge was withdrawn because prosecutors said the girl refused to testify.
Lewis was also ordered to have no contact with the girl.
