KINGSTON, Pa. — Families had the chance to cool off at the Kingston Community Pool on Sunday as part of a fundraiser for the Youth Enrichment Project.
The organization offers funding for extracurricular activities, creative endeavors, and community events for children.
"What we will do is we will buy kids; if kids need uniforms, we can help with uniforms, we can help with registration fees; if they need anything for, say, football, soccer, art, or theater, we are there to help," said Kellyann Kenny, Youth Enrichment Project co-founder.
After cooling off in the pool, families were treated to lunch, giveaways, and other activities in Kingston.
