WILKES-BARRE -- A Wilkes-Barre Police officer was taken to the hospital after he was struck by a vehicle during a traffic stop.
The officer was next to a car stopped on the 100 block of Blackman Street when he was hit by another vehicle.
The driver stopped.
There is no word on if that person will face charges.
The officer was able to walk to an ambulance company, which took him to the hospital to be checked out.
