COURTDALE, Pa. — Local and state police swarmed a home in Luzerne County early Tuesday morning.
Police were called to a home along Memorial Highway in Courtdale just after midnight Tuesday.
Officers at the scene tell Newswatch 16 someone shot a man there.
Authorities say the man managed to get away from the home and onto the road.
Crews say they rushed a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest to the hospital.
The victim was said to be alert when crews took him to the hospital.
His name has not been released, but state police said the man is expected to be okay.
All police could tell us overnight was that someone attacked the victim.
No arrests were made.
Authorities are still putting together what happened here in Luzerne County.
