HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police presence was confirmed for a robbery investigation at an apartment complex in Luzerne County on Wednesday.
Investigators say a suspect stole from Simply Tobacco along the Sans Souci Parkway Wednesday night; video surveillance captured the suspect running. Officers were able to determine that the suspect fled to the Marion Terrace Apartments near Wilkes-Barre.
Newswatch 16 crew was at the scene when officers and a police dog were walking around the Marion Terrace Apartments.
Police cleared the scene around 10:30 p.m.
No word if the suspect has been apprehended after the robbery. This is an ongoing investigation.
