DALLAS, Pa. — Police say a child is responsible for a string of threats made against a school district in Luzerne County.
Dallas Township Police say the juvenile suspect is behind threats made on October 19th, 23rd, 26th, and 27th against the Dallas School District.
On all four occasions, the schools were either evacuated or closed for the day as a result. The threats also forced a delay of the Dallas versus Lehman football game, which was moved from Friday the 27th and played on Saturday the 28th.
Police worked with the FBI to identify the suspect and say the child has been charged as a juvenile in Luzerne County.
Other schools in the area also received threats on some of these days, but investigators have only said this juvenile has been charged in relation to the threats to Dallas.
