Pets killed in Nanticoke fire

The fire Sunday evening drove out nine residents from a double-block home on Shea Street.

NANTICOKE, Pa. — Nine people were displaced, and two pets were killed after a fire in Luzerne County over the weekend.

The fire happened around 5:30 p.m. Sunday in a double-block home on Shea Street in Nanticoke.

Officials say the cause of the fire has been ruled accidental.
