HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Two people and their pets escaped a fire in a Luzerne County home early Wednesday.
Flames broke out around 3 a.m. along Main Road in Hanover Township. That's near Wilkes-Barre.
Two adults and three pets all made it out okay.
The Hanover Township fire chief told Newswatch 16 there was an orange sticker on the house when crews arrived, meaning the house was condemned.
However, the status of the house right now is unclear.
The Red Cross has been called in to assist the victims.
It's too early to tell what sparked the flames.
The cause of that fire is under investigation in Luzerne County.
