WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Hundreds of people gathered in part of Luzerne County on Sunday to shine a little light on darkness.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention hosted its annual 2-mile community walk through Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre in remembrance of those lost to suicide.
Organizers say the annual event serves as one of their biggest fundraisers.
September is National Suicide Prevention Month.
