ASHLEY, Pa. — An event in Luzerne County was all about highlighting local coal mining history.
The Huber Breaker Preservation Society held an open house at Miners Memorial Park in Ashley Sunday afternoon.
Folks could get an up-close look at old mine cars, tools, and even pay stubs, all from the heyday of coal mining in northeastern Pennsylvania.
