NANTICOKE, Pa. — Nanticoke Area High School students had a big celebration on Thursday.
The Key Club hit the $1,000 donation goal for the Children's Miracle Network. A teacher agreed to get a mohawk if the students reached their goal.
It was a good motivator for the students. Teachers say they're glad everyone worked together for a cause.
"Here At Nanticoke, our school community, we always come together, we always take care of our own, and we come together to help others, and as I said before, we had a number of students that benefited from the children's miracle network, things just come together," said James Litchkofski.
The students actually exceeded their goal and raised $1,500, but a haircut wasn't set for that amount.
