LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A crash that closed part of a highway in Luzerne County has been cleared.
The northbound lanes of Interstate 81 were closed after a multi-vehicle crash near the Dorrance exit (159).
It happened after 1:30 p.m. Monday.
Crews at the scene said three cars, a van, and a pickup were involved, and several people were injured.
PennDOT traffic cameras showed emergency vehicles on the closed part of the interstate.
PennDOT said the highway reopened around 3 p.m.
Authorities have not said what led to the crash.
