More flights coming to Wilkes-Barre Scranton International Airport

Three round-trips flights a day will be added.

AVOCA, Pa. — There are some new flights coming to Wilkes-Barre Scranton International Airport.

United Express is adding three round-trip flights a day between the airport in Luzerne County and Washington Dulles Airport.

From there, travelers can connect to locations all over the world.

The airport's director says this is part of an effort to draw more air service to Wilkes-Barre Scranton.
