More flights coming to local airport

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport is adding two new flights.

LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — More flights are coming to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport.

The airport says United Airlines plans to offer two flights a day to Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C.

Southwest will offer non-stop flights to Orlando, Florida, 14 weeks a year, beginning in March.

Allegiant had offered direct flights to Florida before pulling out of the airport in Luzerne County.
