LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A firehouse breakfast that was put on a brief hold is back in full force at a new location in Luzerne County.
The decades-old monthly breakfast benefitting Idetown Volunteer Fire Department was on a short break while the department moved to a new location along Firehouse Road in Lehman Township.
Officials with the department say they were happy to see many familiar faces at the new location.
"People will still travel to come here. They still told us they would still come out, and they, believe it or not, just about everybody that showed up there came here, and we also saw some new faces. So that's always a plus," said Jerry Walker, Idetown Fire Department.
More than 200 breakfasts were served at the firehouse Sunday morning in Luzerne County.
