HUDSON, Pa. — Model train enthusiasts from all over the area came out to an open house on New Year’s Eve in Luzerne County.
The Hudson Model Railroad Club in Plains Township hosted the open house Sunday afternoon.
Members of the club spend a lot of time setting up the 2,000 square foot train layout.
They said it is great to see families keep their love for model trains going.
"We see a lot of families,” said Ted Sherrill, Hudson Model Railroad Club. “We've seen kids that have grown up and they're bringing their kids now. It's quite nice to see families year after year keep coming to see the model railroad."
There will be another open house next Saturday, Jan. 6, and Sunday, Jan. 7, in Luzerne County.
