HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police in Luzerne County are looking for a man they say stabbed someone at a McDonald's on Friday afternoon.
According to the Hanover Township Police Department, Shawn William Shafer, 40, is wanted in connection to the stabbing.
Police responded to the McDonald's along the Sans Souci Parkway in Hanover Township, near Wilkes-Barre, around 4 p.m. Friday for the report of a man who had been stabbed.
The man was taken to the hospital. He is expected to be okay.
Investigators say Shafer fled the scene in Hanover Township in a black sedan. He went towards Wilkes-Barre.
Shafer faces felony aggravated assault charges.
