LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A man will spend decades behind bars for a shooting in Luzerne County.
Investigators say Christopher Carmona, of New York City, was looking into vehicles in a parking lot near the Walmart in Pittston Township back in June of 2022 when a woman confronted him.
Carmona shot her twice.
He pleaded guilty on Wednesday to attempted homicide charges and was sentenced to 20 to 40 years in prison.
