LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A man will spend up to 40 years behind bars after killing a teen in Luzerne County.
Investigators say Alan Meyers shot and killed Kassadey Matulevich, 17, at her home in Butler Township near Drums back in August of 2022.
According to the Luzerne County District Attorney's Office, Meyers pleaded guilty to third-degree murder charges on Tuesday and was immediately sentenced to 20 to 40 years in prison in Luzerne County.
