KINGSTON, Pa. — A man pleaded guilty Tuesday for his role in a deadly shooting in Luzerne County.
Police say Peter McCoy was shot and killed in a parking lot on Main Street in Kingston in September of 2022.
According to police, Jakir Bacote and Tyquan Lassiter both fired at McCoy, but it was Lassiter's shot that killed him.
Bacote pleaded guilty Tuesday to aggravated assault charges. He will spend up to 13 years in prison.
Lassiter was sentenced to up to 50 years in prison on second-degree murder charges late last year.
