LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A man faces several charges after a deadly ATV crash in Luzerne County.
According to court paperwork, Richard Simon, 39, of Nanticoke, was driving along Alden Mountain Road in Newport Township on July 30, 2023, when he attempted to pass an ATV and struck it from behind.
The driver of the ATV, James Thiemann, was thrown from the ATV and later died at the hospital.
Simon faces involuntary manslaughter, reckless driving, and related charges in Luzerne County.
