WAPWALLOPEN, Pa. — Lightning struck a home in Luzerne County Saturday afternoon.
Crews raced to a home on Blue Ridge Trail in Dorrance Township just after 2 p.m. They found smoke coming from the roof and fire in the attic.
No was was hurt.
Firefighters cut a hole in the roof for ventilation. Other than fire damage, the house also suffered some water damage. The family who lives in the home cannot stay there for the time being.
