SUGARLOAF, Pa. — A holiday light show in Luzerne County welcomed families in the autism and special needs community on Sunday.
Dozens of families came to Sugarloaf Golf Club for the Collaborative Autism Movement's Light the Night for Autism event.
The sensory-friendly light show included festive favorites like hot chocolate, s'mores, and a visit from Saint Nicholas himself.
"This is fabulous for the families, it’s a Sunday night. It’s a little bit quieter than it usually would be here, turn the music down a little bit; they could take their time going through. We have Santa here and every family gets a free picture with Santa too," said Eileen Perchak, Director of Collaborative Autism Movement.
About 400 people came through the light display in Luzerne County.
