WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Helping college students battle stress—that's what a donation will be used for in Luzerne County.
On Friday, the TEGNA Foundation donated $2,200 to King's College in Wilkes-Barre.
The TEGNA Foundation supports nonprofit organizations in communities served by TEGNA Inc. The community grant program serves to address local community needs. TEGNA is the parent company of WNEP.
Officials at King's say the money will be used for a wellness center on campus where students can decompress and relax.
