HAZLETON, Pa. — Kids had a unique opportunity to present an important lesson in Hazleton on Friday.
The Education Opportunity Center gave children with special needs the chance to become pop stars. They wrote a song and produced it with professional producers in the studio. The kids spent the day filming a music video for the song at the Hazleton Art League.
"What differentiates us from other summer camps is that we provide those hands-on experiences with the student that they may have not been able to do in their life yet, so this could be a lot of firsts for the kids," said Estephany Peguero, Educational Specialist.
The song is all about an important life lesson: believing in yourself.
