KINGSTON, Pa. — It was a day of family fun in Luzerne County.
The Friedman Jewish Community Center in Kingston hosted Kids Discovery Day on Saturday afternoon.
The event featured local law enforcement, touch a truck, and other children's activities.
Organizers say the event is all about the kids.
"This event is really to celebrate children, so it's about bringing everyone together. We are advocates, myself and Shannon are advocates for children; we do a few different things, but we really wanted the kids to come out and have a good fun, free day," said Mary Kay Pivovarnik, Executive Director, CASA of Luzerne County.
The Luzerne County Child Advocacy Center and CASA of Luzerne County sponsored the event in Kingston.
