WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — The former assistant treasurer of a church in Wilkes-Barre has been sentenced for theft.
David Williams was sentenced Friday to five years on probation.
He previously pleaded guilty to taking thousands of dollars in donations from St. Stephen's Church in Wilkes-Barre back in 2017.
