LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — Flames broke out at a recycling center in Luzerne County Sunday night.
Viewer video shows the fire at EMR Recycling along Transportation Drive in Hazle Township. The flames broke out just before 8:30 p.m.
Hazle Township Fire Chief Scott Katichian says the fire started when a battery exploded in a pile of recyclable metals.
Officials say the fire is under control. There is no word on any injuries after that fire in Luzerne County.
