PITTSTON, Pa. — The West Pittston Historical Society honored fallen Revolutionary War soldiers with their First to Fall event on Sunday.
The event at the Jenkins Harding Cemetery on Linden Street included a featured speaker and presentation, along with reenactors and tours of the cemetery.
The two first casualties in the Harding Massacre, which led to the Battle of Wyoming, were Benjamin and Stuckley Harding brothers from the area, who were both buried in the cemetery.
This was the 3rd annual First to Fall event in Luzerne County.
