LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — Crews from several departments were called to a fire at a vacant home on Foundry Street in West Pittston Friday night.
West Pittston, Avoca, and Exeter firefighters responded around 9:20pm. When they arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames.
Officials said there were no injuries, but the attic and floor collapsed. The home is a total loss. Siding on a home next door was also damaged.
Wyoming Area Regional Police told Newswatch 16 the cause of the fire is suspicious. The State Police Fire Marshal was called to investigate.
