WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Fire damaged a home Monday morning in Luzerne County.
Crews responded to the home along Madison Street around 12:30 a.m.
Four people, four dogs, two cats and two birds were in the house at the time of the fire. Everyone made it out safely with no injuries.
According to the Wilkes-Barre Fire Department, the fire was accidental and caused by improper use of extension cords and power strips.
