Fire hits vacant house in Luzerne County

A firefighter owned the house that was getting renovated.

LARKSVILLE, Pa. — Flames hit a firefighter's home in Luzerne County.

The vacant house in Larksville went up just before 8 a.m. on Friday.

Crews say the place on Charles Street is owned by a Larksville volunteer firefighter and was being renovated.

There's no cause yet.

One firefighter was treated for breathing smoke.
